Twenty Weeks

We're halfway, my little Luigi! It still amazes me every day. This week, you are the length of a banana, or the size of a coconut or a small cantaloupe. You're getting big, my little man. I am starting to feel you moving more and more. I think you were rocking out a bit to the American Idol finale last week, maybe even head banging a bit, because there was one thump right where your head seems to be, that I swear I felt with my hand on my stomach. I can't wait until you kick hard enough for your dad to be able to feel as well. (Although, I do hope you'll be somewhat kind to me.)

I got to see you again on Friday, which was great. You were more cooperative this time, and they got the pictures that were needed. It was a smaller screen though, so it was harder for me to see you moving around.

We're making progress getting ready for you. I've pulled some potential paint colors for your room. And we went to the baby store to pick out some things we liked for you. It's amazing how much stuff the store tells us you will need! We'll soon see if they are right, I guess. I was also able to find two purple shirts for you. Yes, you should be well aware by now that you Mommy's favorite color is purple. You have every right to tell me you hate it when you can start to talk. Until then...it's fare game my son!

This week, Daddy and I are celebrating our fourth anniversary. It's hard to believe that it's been three years since we really started working at adding you to our family. We're so glad you finally decided to join us!
