Happy 6 months PAIL!
PS: watching it back, I so needed some makeup. But alas, that doesn't happen on a typical day around here. Oh well!
After a three year struggle, the third IVF was the charm. Welcome to the next book of the Chronicles...The New Adventures of Luigi Limoncello!
OH You look wonderful!! And Leo is getting so big!!! I love this and it's wonderful to put a voice to your words...the last time I did a VLOG challenge it was funny how the tone of everyone's blogs changed to their own voices. LOVE IT!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd Google is my best frenemy...you're not alone in that LOL
Great video Jen.
ReplyDeleteIt is great to meet you!! :) And your little man! He is adorable and is giving me baby fever. Also, another Boston area-er? I think Boston might have to be the next PAIL blogger meet up location!!! I would happily go catch a Sox game on the same trip! ;)
ReplyDeleteYour favourite moment of the day and morning moments sound lovely.
Your 'stole my sparkle' comment made me choke up and tear up. I am so sorry. Breaks my heart that you lost that and I hope and truly believe that little beautiful boy can bring it back. Hugs.

ReplyDeleteOnto more serious things. The I used to be silly. Yep me too, like super silly. And it stole your confidence oh yes, yes it's like it stole my ability to know the decisions I am making are right.
He is so great and you are doing an amazing job. We both are!
And very impressed with the purple.

I agree with the ladies above - the "you stole my sparkle" line hit me like a ton of bricks. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteFun to "SEE" you!
Yes, stole my sparkle. that exactly.
ReplyDeleteGreat video! Loved getting to know you!
Your son is so adorable! Congrats :)
Oh it was so good to see you! And Leo! Glad to see you both looking so wonderful.
ReplyDeleteHi Jen! I have only been by a few times, but I am glad to finally *meet* you! Leo is just...ugh...I want to eat him up in a pita pocket. So, so lovely.
ReplyDeleteThe sparkle. Man. Yeah.
This was great. Really, really great.
So sweet to meet you and Leo! :) I'm all kinds of "Parenthood is no superglue for the IF fracture." BUT, I will say this: parenting has given me some unanticipated sparkle. I don't know if I ever had it before--or maybe it was a different kind of sparkle, I don't know--but I am easily sillier and more relaxed now (nearly 2 years in) than I ever was. Something about these kids, man. They tend to distill us down to our rawest and truest selves. I guess what I mean to say is that I have a heap of confidence over here that you will either regain your sparkle or give birth to a whole new kind of sparkle. Yup.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing! I'm in the Boston area too! (South Shore)... So sorry to hear that infertility stole your sparkle and your confidence. I have a feeling it will all come back quickly though with your adorable little Leo around!
